Andrea Lucrecia Richardson is a medical anthropologist from Memphis, TN. Her research interests include the history of midwifery, Black maternal and infant health, and Black feminist epistemology. A former public school educator, Andrea is keenly interested in conducting research that is both beneficial and accessible to the community members who support her. In her free time she is a visual artist, an avid reader of sci-fi and horror, and a budding connoisseur of cat videos.
