Anna Roberson

Anna Roberson (JD expected 2020) graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Political Science and Global Studies and a minor in Hispanic Studies. After graduating from college, she worked as an immigration legal assistant and as an advocacy intern, supporting victims of domestic violence in court. During her 1L year, Anna focused her pro bono work in the field of immigration law. She is particularly interested in the ways in which immigration law and labor/employment law intersect, and the human rights issues affecting the transnational labor force. This summer, Anna will work with Southern Migrant Legal Services, an organization in Nashville, Tennessee that provides free legal services to migrant agricultural workers, particularly on employment-related issues. Upon graduation, Anna plans to pursue a career in public interest law.
