Anne is a PhD in the Department of Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to attending UT, she earned a BA in Music and a BAEd in Human Development and Family Science at UNC Chapel Hill. Anne is interested in the intersection of family demography, human development, and population health, and studies early life origins of health disparities across the life course. For her master's thesis, completed in December 2025, Anne investigated structural inequalities contributing to racial disparities in maternal mental health. She is passionate about research that supports equitable, healthy development across the life course.
