Archana Murthy is a J.D. Candidate at the University of Texas School of Law, Class of 2026. She received her B.A. from Texas A&M University in Biology and Philosophy and minored in Anthropology. Archana is passionate about reproductive justice, global human rights movements, and criminal justice reform. This past summer, she interned at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Northern District of Texas and in state civil district court for the Honorable Judge Martin Hoffman. In law school, she is involved in If/When/How, the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, and the Texas Journal for Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. Outside of law school, Archana enjoys reading, hiking, and pretty much any performance art.
