Brianna Tran
Brianna Tran is a third-year student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a double major in International Relations & Global Studies and Government, along with a certificate in Business Spanish. Along with serving as the External Director of the International Relations and Global Studies Council, she has also been an undergraduate researcher for the past two years, working on teams focusing focusing on immigration from Mexico to the US and the reintegration of ex-combatants in Colombia. In addition to her academic pursuits, Brianna is passionate about international human rights. She volunteers at The Immigration Project, a pro bono immigration law firm, where she translates legal documents to and from Spanish, and she is also involved with the Global Impact Initiative, tutoring young refugees. Upon graduation, Brianna aspires to attend law school with the goal of becoming an immigration lawyer where she will work to reform the immigration and refugee system on both a local and national level.
