Caitlin graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism, Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures, minor in Arabic and a Security Studies certificate from the Clements Center for National Security. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked with Refugee Services of Texas and interned at the Migration Policy Institute. Currently, Caitlin is a Master of Global Policy Studies student at the LBJ School and interns with the United Nations. Her research and career interests center around the relationship between international security, migration, and humanitarian aid, specifically in its effects on counterterrorism efforts.
