Irene Sibi

Irene is a senior Informatics major with a double-concentration in User Experience Design and Social Justice Informatics as well as a BDP Certificate in Digital Arts and Media. In a world where technology has an increasingly strong grasp in nearly every aspect of human life, she critically examines its role in creating and exacerbating injustice. With a background in research, data, design, and art, she has witnessed the inherently interdisciplinary nature of reachable, impactful knowledge and works to imbue human-centered transparency into every discipline through which she practices. She is particularly interested in the value of education as a tool for justice, community-building, and lasting change.
