Jeongin Lee

Jeongin Yulia Lee is a Ph.D. Candidate in ethnomusicology at the University of Texas at Austin. Working at the nexus of sound studies, East Asian studies, performance studies, and feminist thought, Jeongin is primarily interested in the relationship of music, sound, and violence; the soundscape of wartime violence, the sonic warfare between the two Koreas, and sonic and musical responses to violence against the female body.
