Summer Human Rights Fellows

Katherine Bartos (B.A. 2022, Rice University; J.D. expected 2025) will spend her summer at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights U.S. Advocacy and Litigation team. RFA Human Rights focuses on protecting and expanding human rights both domestically and internationally through strategic litigation, advocacy, and education. Katherine will assist in litigation aimed at combating human rights abuses in the US immigration and criminal legal systems. During her time at Texas Law, Katherine has participated in the Civil Rights Clinic, the Mithoff Pro Bono Program Title IX and Parole Projects, and interned at the Texas Civil Rights Project Beyond Borders team. In the Fall 2024 semester, Katherine is planning to study abroad in Singapore with a focus on international human rights. After law school, Katherine hopes to work as a high impact litigator aimed at protecting both civil and human rights.
