Kevin Trahan

Kevin Trahan (B.S. 2015, Northwestern University; J.D. expected 2020) will intern this summer with the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) in The Hague, Netherlands. The MICT's office in The Hague handles cases from the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Kevin will be working in the Office of the Prosecutor, which charges offending former state and military officials in the Balkans for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. Prior to law school, Kevin worked as a sports journalist, writing most frequently for VICE, SB Nation and USA Today. He also interned at the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. At Texas Law, he works as a research assistant, researching constitutional law, and is the incoming president of the Human Rights Law Society. After law school, Kevin hopes to pursue a career in human rights or civil rights law.
