Lauren Beccue is a senior pursuing a degree in Journalism. She is also working toward an interdisciplinary certificate in Human Rights and Social Justice through the Bridging Disciplines Program. Her interests include criminal justice reform and immigrant rights. Lauren has previously worked as an intern at the Children's Defense Fund and Texas Fair Defense Project. At UT, she is a member of the International Affairs Society and volunteers as an ESL tutor with iACT for Refugees. She plans to attend law school after graduating in 2017.
