Manasi Chande is a 4th-year student at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in government and corporate communications with a BDP certificate in Ethics and Leadership in Law, Politics, and Government. She currently serves as the editor-in-chief of the Texas Undergraduate Law Journal. She previously worked as an undergraduate intern in the legal department at the ACLU of Texas in the summers of 2022 and 2023, focusing on criminal justice and reproductive rights. Her interests in human rights stems from her work experience and coursework in constitutional law, as she is interested in exploring the overlap between human rights and civil/constitutional liberties within the U.S. legal system. She hopes to attend law school and become a constitutional lawyer in the future.
