Margaret Siu
Margaret Siu interned with us in Summer 2018 as a junior majoring in Plan II Honors. Siu has also obtained a certificate in Mandarin Chinese from National Taiwan Normal University and a certificate in Managerial Economics, Business Analytics, and Financial Accounting through Harvard Business School’s prestigious HBX Program. She is also the founder and Editor in Chief of Apricity Magazine, a Columbia Scholastic Press Association gold medalist magazine promoting the arts internationally. Siu is a first place recipient of the James F. Parker Prize in Poetry, first place recipient of the Dallas Morning News Journalism Day Award for Short Feature. In the summer, she partners with Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support, volunteering as a court partner.
She has was selected to be Professor Lee Walker’s teaching assistant for the 2018-2019 school year, leading his classes on exploring civic engagement with the intention of inspiring students to become civic entrepreneurs.
