Maribel Bello is a communicologist, ethnographer and actress with interdisciplinary education in social sciences, arts and humanities. Graduated from the Facultad de Ciencias Politicas y Sociales by Uivestidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. She has studied a diploma of Social Intervention in the Universidad de Buenos Aires. She has worked as an assistant consultant and researcher for In-situm, where she performed qualitative research around social problems in various states of Mexico. Additionally, she has worked for UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and crime), specifically with Women in jail in the state of Durango, Mexico and with migrants in transit in the state of Coahuila. Currently, she is developing an ethnography about the Intimacy Life of Undocumented Mexican people living in Austin, Texas.
