Maricarmen Hernandez

Hernandez was raised in the border cities of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua and Agua Prieta Sonora. She received a BA in Anthropology at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and a fellow of the Urban Ethnography Lab at the University of Texas.
