Mia Uhunmwuangho

Mia is a senior majoring in journalism and pre-law. Her human rights interests include women’s education and women’s health in West Africa. She was previously co-editor-in-chief of UT’s student-run ORANGE Magazine. She’s an honor student in Moody’s Senior Fellows Honors Program, and is on the program’s advisory committee. She’s also the former communications intern at the Girls Empowerment Network, an LSAC Discover Law Prelaw Undergraduate Scholar, and the former senior student associate at the Texas Language Center. Aside from being a summer writing coach in the Moody College of Communication, Mia was an undergraduate intern at the Mithoff Pro Bono Program in the William Wayne Center of Justice at Texas Law. After graduating in 2018, Mia plans to attend law school.
