Pablo Millalen Lepin is a member of the Lof (Mapuche community) Mañiuco in Galvarino, Chile. He received a bachelor´s degree in Social Work (2012) and a master´s degree in Management and Public Policy from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (2015). He was a fellow at the Human Rights Program for Indigenous Peoples of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the University of Deusto (2016). Currently, he is enrolled in the Ph.D. Program in Latin American Studies at Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. His research interest focus on state policies on indigenous affairs, states and Indigenous Peoples in Latin America, human rights and, indigenous rights.
