Patrick Aana
Patrick Aana (BA 2012, University of Houston; MLA 2014, University of St. Thomas; JD 2019, The University of Texas at Austin School of Law) is currently an Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, focusing on international arbitration matters. He was a Rapoport Center Human Rights Scholar in 2017-2018. During his time at Texas Law, Patrick interned in the Appellate Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas, in Houston. Prior to law school, Patrick worked at a nonprofit in Houston dedicated to educating students and the local community on international topics and current events. He was also involved with Rotary International, Houston Area Model United Nations, and Catholic Charities, community organizations focused on fostering international cooperation and service. At Texas Law, Patrick was involved with Texas Law Fellowships, the Human Rights Law Society, Youth Court, and the Texas International Law Journal. In addition, he served as the Society Coordinator for Cadena Society and participated in the Human Rights Clinic.
