Reina Wehbi
Reina Wehbi is a Fulbright grantee from Lebanon currently pursuing her LL.M in Human Rights and Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated with an LL.B from the Lebanese University in Beirut. As a United Nations National Volunteer, she recently worked for the Lebanese Elections Assistance Project run by the United Nations Development Program where she contributed to the municipal elections operations in Lebanon. Selected as a Middle East Partnership Initiative Student Leader in 2014, Reina was one of seven students to represent Lebanon in a six-week leadership training in the US. Passionate about human rights advocacy, she interned at the International Center for Transitional Justice and Human Rights Watch in Beirut. Reina is currently part of the Human Rights Clinic at UT, working on a project related to slavery in Mauritania as well as contributing to the work of the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances.
