Sadikshya Nepal (B.A. 2011 University of Massachusetts, Amherst; MGPS expected 2020) will be interning at the Center for Migration Studies in New York this summer. She is a graduate student in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Policy at UT and pursuing a degree in Global Policy Studies with a concentration in migration. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of gender and migration, particularly in South Asia. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree, Sadikshya worked as an advocate and caseworker in service of South Asian women and refugees. Her work with Bhutanese refugees in the Greater Boston Area sparked her current pursuits toward a degree in public policy.
