Selina Wu is a third-year student majoring in Government and Sociology from Houston, Texas. With varied interests, she has completed minor studies in Law, Justice, & Society, Chinese, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Cultural Expression, Human Experience, and Thought, and Core Texts and Ideas. She is currently pursuing a Criminal Law, Justice, & Inequality Bridging Disciplines Certificate.

For her honors thesis, Selina plans to combine her areas of study to expand on the intersection of comparative constitutional law and reproductive justice or the evolution of American democracy. She is deeply passionate about exploring various legal domains concurrently and is currently studying the state of reproductive rights after Dobbs within the United States and the lasting legal continuity of the Japanese Constitution.

Outside of formal studies, she enjoys being an internet historian and archiver of Japanese media and discovering the best places to eat in Austin. Following graduation, Selina plans to attend law school to continue her studies.
