Undergraduate Interns

Sonali Muthukrishnan is a junior government and RIM (race, indigeneity, and migration) double major at UT Austin pursuing a BDP certificate in leadership and ethics in business. In the past she has written for the Texas Undergraduate Law Journal, the Chapman Undergraduate Law journal, and the Daily Texan. Her work showcases the voice of minoritized communities and the issues they face. Last year, she founded the Undergraduate Law Journal for Minority Women at UT. She is also part of Minority Women Pursuing law and the Liberal Arts Council as a committee co-chair. In addition to her academic pursuits, Sonali has previously interned at the Office of Capital and Forensic Writs which defends those on Death Row, the personal injury firm Marc Whitehead and Associates as a Mass Torts intern, and the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program while at UT. She is passionate about human and civil rights and how they affect marginalized communities. After graduation she plans to go to law school to become a civil rights attorney.
