Vickie Belcher

Vickie is a first year in the Community and Regional Planning (CRP) Master’s Program in the School of Architecture. Her research interests include environmental planning and climate justice, particularly in the context of disaster management. In addition to her studies, she works as a Program Manager in Google’s Global Affairs organization. At Google, Vickie has worked on diverse programs to promote user safety and compliance with global content regulations. She is currently the lead program manager for the Google.org Doorway Fellowship, working with the Bay Area Housing Finance Authority to develop an online/mobile portal to connect the Bay community to affordable housing resources. Outside of coursework, she enjoys spending time outdoors, baking, and studying languages.
