“Los Años de Fierro & La Libertad de Fierro”: A Two-Part Documentary Project

“Los Años de Fierro” and “La Libertad de Fierro” are two-part documentary project that follows the case of César Fierro—examining his 40 years on death row in Texas and his attempt to rebuild a life after his long-awaited release.
Each screening will feature a post-screening discussion on the legal dimensions of the case and the profound challenges of re-entering society after years in solitary confinement.
This event is organized by the Capital Punishment Clinic and co-sponsored by the Rapoport Center for Human Rights and Justice.
