The Honorable Kay Bailey Hutchison has been recognized with the University of Texas Presidential Citation Award for her dedication and support of the University. A three-term U.S. senator, Bailey Hutchison went on to serve as the United States ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), in Brussels, Belgium. Named in her honor, UT’s Kay Bailey Hutchison Energy Center is a collaboration between Texas Law, the McCombs School of Business, the Cockrell School of Engineering, and the Jackson School of Geosciences.
