Description
The Human Rights in Latin America course will survey the most significant human rights issues that have arisen in Latin America over the last several decades as well as the legal and advocacy mechanisms invoked to address those issues. In the process, the course will consider how human rights ideas, legal actions and activist strategies have the capacity, not always realized, to transform law and institutions, society, and the relationship between governments and citizens in Latin AmericaInstructors
