Description

This class is designed for the serious advocacy student interested in improving trial skills through intensive training exercises and immersion into trial skills. In the Intensive Trial Practice course, students are divided into small groups and try case after case throughout the semester for a deep immersion in trial skills. The course teaches them how to try and defend a case alone as well as how to partner during a trial. This is a fast-paced, intensive course intended for students with the interest, commitment and energy necessary to participate in multiple trials during the semester. This is a 4-credit class (1 credit graded; 3 credits pass/fail). Students can take the graded portion P/F if they so choose. Prerequisites: Advocacy Survey and Evidence
