Description
This class is a more rigorous and competitive class and will move at a much faster pace than Advocacy Survey. The class does not require formal training, but does require an interest and dedication beyond that of the basic class. Students will try 3 or 4 cases throughout the course of the semester: 2 solo mini-trials and 2 full trials with partners. Cases will be both civil and criminal, and the class will particularly emphasize cross-examination skills. All classes will occur during the day. This is a 4-credit course graded on a pass/fail basis offered only during the fall semester. Prerequisites: Advocacy Survey and Evidence (can be taken concurrently).Instructors
