Description
This two hour course will focus on the resources and methodology used in performing legal research in Texas. It will also provide instruction and feedback on writing generally. Through a series of lectures and assignments students will become familiar with the various types of legal research; including statutory law, case law, administrative regulations, and secondary practice materials in both print and electronic formats. Students must complete research exercises throughout the course and will be expected to complete a number of writing projects. The course is offered on a Pass/Fail basis. Class size is limited to 16 students.Instructors
