Description
The course will provide an introduction to the legal aspects of the construction process, including the relationships between the members of the construction team, as well as the resolution of disputes which arise out of the design and construction of commercial and residential projects. The course will emphasize the practical application of construction law, with a view toward providing the student with a working knowledge of the area. The course will be taught by William Allensworth and Matt Sullivan, both of whom are members of the Travis County Construction Bar. Both Messrs. Allensworth and Sullivan are civil litigators, but will teach the course for the benefit of both transactional lawyers and litigators, and will emphasize the prevention and resolution of construction disputes.Instructors
