This is an intermediate course in civil litigation skills. Students will focus on techniques such as preparing for and taking a deposition, drafting and responding to discovery, e-issues, courtroom technology and motion practice. This class is primarily a skill-based class with heavy emphasis on developing a case from start to finish. While there are some lecture sessions, students will spend most weeks "learning by doing" in small groups.
Required Prerequisites: Evidence and Advocacy Survey. Suggested Prerequisite: Texas Civil Procedure
