Description

This class is designed to for the serious advocacy student interested in improving trial skills through intensive training exercises and immersion into trial skills. In the Intensive Trial Practice course, students are divided into small groups and try case after case throughout the semester for a deep immersion in trial skills. The course teaches them how to try and defend a case alone as well as how to partner during a trial. This is a fast-paced, intensive course intended for students with the interest, commitment and energy necessary to participate in multiple trials during the semester. This is a 4-credit class (1 credit graded; 3 credits pass/fail). Prerequisites: Advocacy Survey and Evidence (For the Fall of 2011 ONLY these courses can be taken concurrently; if you are in Advocacy Survey contemporaneously with this class, you may opt out of the Advocacy Survey skills session).
