Description
Instructors: Andrew Dillon (dillon@dillonyudell.com) & Sriram Vishwanath (sriram@ece.utexas.edu) Class Aims: 1. To evaluate technology generated at UT based on their commercial potential and market-value. 2. To take a student carefully through the process of turning disclosures into patents. 3. To develop one or more teams that will eventually enter a commercialization competition such as the Idea to Product (I2P). Pre-requisites: This class has no pre-requisites. Instructor permission is required to join the class. Class Hours: MW 7-8:30 PM in ETC 4.150. Office Hours: Vishwanath’s office hours are MW 6:30-7:30, and Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm.
