Description
This is a course in the substantive law regulating immigration to the United States and the regulation of non-citizens in the United States. Topics covered include the constitutional law aspects of the immigration and removal (deportation) process, entry, conduct of hearings, relief from removal, general regulation of non-citizens, and new developments. In addition, the refugee and asylum will be discussed. The final exam will be open book. LLM students will be required to take the exam; there will be no paper option.Textbooks ( * denotes required )
