Description
This writing seminar examines a broad range of legal and policy challenges posed by artificial intelligence and other emergent technologies. Topics covered will include: technology and privacy; robots and personhood; superintelligence; criminal and civil liability arising from emerging technologies; driverless cars; synthetic biology; post-humanism and the “Singularity” (cloning, biotech, prosthetics and other innovation); job loss and the “abundance society;” lethal autonomous weapons and drones.
