Description
Methods by which rights and duties of promissory and quasi-promissory origin are created, transferred, limited, discharged, breached, and enforced. The course will cover crucial aspects of black letter law, complex theoretical questions, hard cases, and challenging practice problems. The course will also include an introduction to basic concepts in law and economics, frequent references to Roman law, and the occasional look at modern foreign legal systems.
