Description
The course addresses oil and gas contracts (other than the oil and gas lease) and transfers by lessees, including support agreements, farmout agreements, operating agreements, drilling contracts, service contracts, and gas purchase and sales contracts. The course also includes development of federal and state lands, and the course will touch upon oil and gas environmental regulation. The Oil and Gas Law course (Law 390) provides useful background for the course, but it is not required as a formal prerequisite.
