Alisa Holahan JD ’15, a triple Longhorn, joined the Tarlton Law Library as a reference librarian in 2018. She now serves as the library's Head of Collection Development. She lectures on advanced legal research (AI and conventional). Previously she was a Google Public Policy Fellow at the American Library Association’s Office for Information Technology Policy in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and is licensed to practice law in Texas.
Alisa Holahan graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law in 2015. In law school, she served as a research associate editor for the Texas Law Review. She holds a BA in the Plan II Honors Program and English as well as a Master of Science in Information Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She joined the Tarlton Law Library as a reference librarian in 2018 and now serves at the library's Head of Collection Development. While earning her master's degree, she served as the library's Tarlton Fellow. In the summer of 2017 she was a Google Public Policy Fellow at the American Library Association’s Office for Information Technology Policy in Washington, DC, where she researched information policy issues critical to libraries. She is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries and is licensed to practice law in Texas.
