Caryn Schenewerk ’02 is the chief policy officer at Vast, where she leads government affairs, regulatory strategy, and public policy initiatives. She is a skilled lawyer with experience in space law, policy analysis and advocacy, organizational development, legal compliance, politics, and international relations. Her strong legal community has been built by valuing integrity, collaboration, hard work, and mentoring.
Schenewerk also serves as an adjunct professor of commercial space law at Georgetown University Law Center, on the FAA's Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee, and on Austin College's Board of Trustees. She co-authored the textbook International Space Law and Space Laws of the United States.
