Charles R. Eskridge

The Hon. Charles Eskridge, a judge on the U.S. District Court District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston, received his B.S. from Trinity University and J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. He served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Charles Clark of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, as a law clerk to Justice Byron White of the U.S. Supreme Court, and as a special assistant to the Hon. Howard Holtzmann of the Iran/U.S. Claims Tribunal in The Hague.
From 1994 to 2019, Eskridge was in private practice in Houston, litigating complex commercial disputes. He also teaches at the University of Houston Law Center and has served as the Distinguished Visiting Practitioner of Law at the Pepperdine University School of Law.
