Eric Jon Heflin

Eric Jon Heflin is a board member, chief information security officer, chief technology officer, and entrepreneur who has overseen the growth and security of the largest Health Data Sharing Network (HIE) in the United States, the eHealth Exchange. He architected, built, operates, and secures the State of Texas official Health Information Exchange.
Heflin has a strong focus on innovation, clinical data interoperability, and all layers of cybersecurity. He currently is a member of the board of directors for IHE USA and is a former board member for IHE International. Heflin is an active software engineer and biomedical device inventor who is a certified HITRUST practitioner, and CISSP/ CISO/CTO cybersecurity professional.
