Jessica V. Huynh

Jessica Huynh is of counsel with Smith & Vinson Law Firm and has handled thousands of cases ranging from low-level misdemeanor offenses to higher-level offenses, including sexual assault and capital murder. She has been trying cases and connecting with juries across Texas for over a decade. At Texas Law, Huynh serves as a mock trial instructor.

As a first- generation Vietnamese-American, Huynh was the first in her family to attend college, attending the University of Southern California on a full scholarship where she competed on a nationally recognized mock trial team. She graduated with a degree in political science in 2003. Huynh continued her passion for trial advocacy at the University of Oregon School of Law where she founded and formed a competitive mock trial team. She also started her career in criminal law interning at the Washington County District Attorney's Office outside of Portland, Oregon, and graduated in 2010.
