Lorri Michel is co-founder of Michel & Rogers, PC and is an eight-year Texas Super Lawyer honoree (2018-24). Michel has more than 30 years’ experience in property tax law and as an adjunct professor at Texas Law, teaches Texas Property Tax Law. She is an invited fellow of the Austin Women Lawyers Foundation and has been honored with selection to the Texas Bar Foundation as a life fellow.
Michel serves as counsel to the Texas Apartment Association on property tax matters. She also serves on the Government Relations Committee of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals. Michel has testified before the Texas Senate Select Committee on Property Tax Reform & Relief and is a trusted subject matter expert for Texas legislators considering changes to the state’s property tax system.
