Michael E. Urena is an attorney with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, where he leads the organization’s Native American Rights and Disability Rights practices. During nearly three decades representing low-income Texans, his work has also included family, employment, housing, consumer, farmworker, and public utility law. A former U.S. Army service member, Urena earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from St. John’s College.
