Nicole Leonard Cordoba

Nicole Leonard Córdoba teaches legal analysis and communication. Her experience, centered around appeals, spans a range of civil practice areas and industries. Before joining the faculty, she previously practiced in Austin as a part of Greenberg Traurig’s Appeals Legal Issues group and served as a judicial clerk for Chief Justice Nathan Hecht on the Texas Supreme Court, with pro bono work focused on immigration, civil rights, and criminal justice.

Professor Córdoba received her B.A. in English Literature from University of Maryland College Park and J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. While at Texas Law, she was a Chancellor, a Teaching Quizmaster, and an associate editor of the Texas Law Review.
