Parisa Fatehi-Weeks

Parisa Fatehi-Weeks '07 teaches coursework on law and poverty as an adjunct professor. She currently serves as senior director of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) programs and partnerships for Indeed, where she leads a global team focused on economic mobility for marginalized communities. A triple Longhorn who also earned a master’s degree in public affairs, Professor Fatehi-Weeks is a board leader for Workers Defense Project and HousingWorks Austin.
Parisa Fatehi-Weeks serves as Senior Director of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Programs and Partnerships for Indeed, where she leads a global team focused on economic mobility for marginalized communities. She is a Board leader for Workers Defense Project, an immigrant workers' rights organization, and HousingWorks Austin, an affordable housing advocacy organization. Before joining Indeed, she led the digital equity portfolio at Google.org.
She previously worked in the Austin City Manager's office and served as staff attorney at Public Advocates, a nonprofit civil rights law firm in San Francisco where she led the organization's climate justice practice and advocated for more affordable housing and public transit for marginalized communities. Prior to that, she was a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Vanessa D. Gilmore in Houston and worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C.
She is a graduate of UT-Austin, where she was student body president and received her B.A., J.D. and Master’s in public affairs.
