Sarah Mae Jennings ’18 is a licensed attorney and registered lobbyist with special interests in who has access to justice and legal system reform. Her current work focuses on closing the civil access to justice gap in Texas. As an adjunct professor at Texas Law, she teaches Indigent Defense.

Previously, Jennings was the policy director at a statewide nonprofit fighting the criminalization of poverty in Texas, a public defender in New Orleans, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cameroon. She has been known to create change through litigation, policy, and education.
