Stephen C. Stout ’07 is general counsel, corporate secretary, and chief ethics and compliance officer at Shattuck Labs. A registered patent attorney, he previously spent nearly 15 years in private practice handling intellectual property and technology disputes, particularly in the life sciences. Stout earned his J.D. with honors and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. from Louisiana State University, and a B.S. from Texas A&M University.
