The Washington Attorneys with Disabilities Association (WADA) is offering at least one $3,000 scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year to a law student who has demonstrated a commitment to promoting meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities within the legal profession.
The scholarship is open to non-Washington residents as well.
Applicants are asked to submit:
- A short essay describing their experience with disability or the disability community, and their goals in pursuing a legal career;
- A resume and GPA; and
- Two letters of recommendation.
Applications are due June 30, 2026, and decisions are expected by August 7, 2026.
WADA is a nonprofit minority bar association dedicated to advancing inclusion, accessibility, mentorship, and professional development for attorneys and law students with disabilities.
