Military and Veterans Law Section Scholarship

Award: $2,500. In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary the Military and Veterans Law Section will award up to 2 Scholarships to worthy candidates. Award will be distributed at the State Annual Meeting in June of 2026.

Application and supporting documents must be received by Christine Herron, Chair at cherrondar@gmail.com by the deadline.

1. Nominee must be attending an accredited Texas Law School, who either has served in the Armed Forces with a favorable characterization of service, or is currently serving on active duty, or in the National Guard or Reserve.
2. Nominee must have completed 12 hours of law school course work and attach a copy of their transcript and DD214, if relevant.
